Rubik’s TouchCube Puzzle
Thirty years ago Erno Rubik took a puzzle he had been tinkering with and turned it into the must-have brain twister toy, the Rubik’s Cube.
The original was hard enough with its confounding little “cubies,” as the competitive Rubik’s solvers call them. Now, a company called Techno Source gives you Rubik’s TouchCube. The latest version of the cube doesn’t require twisting and turning the colored layers at all. Merely the soft swipe of a single finger across its surface will do it. It’s a Rubik’s Cube for the iPhone age.
The TouchCube ($150) goes on sale in October, but not at the same toy stores that stock its distant cousin. The TouchCube will be available from Best Buy, as well as Amazon.com and Hammacher.com.
Microsoft’s Courier Dual Screen Tablet
Yesterday, the cats over at Gizmodo got a look at what appeared to be a pretty groundbreaking product from Microsoft — the Courier — a dual-screen, multitouch tablet with an advanced UI the likes of which we’ve rarely seen. According to the site’s report, the product was in “late prototype” stages, and judging from the video, it looked to be pretty far along (at least as far software was concerned). Today, MobileTechWorld looks as though it might be shedding a little more light on the device and its software… but it might not be quite what you think.

Mechwarrior 5 announcement soon
A series of new teaser trailers hint quite obviously that a new Mechwarrior game could be in the making.A series of new teaser trailers have just been released on IGN which hint quite blatantly that a new Mechwarrior game could be set for an imminent reveal.
The trio of trailers each show massive robotic bipeds stomping around in cities, which is a pretty sure clue that even if the teased game isn’t a Mechwarrior title then it’ll still feature massive robotic bipeds that can stomp around in cities.
